A one-two donkey-punch of sonic surprises.

I still haven't written some other stuff I was going to post, but this is what I want to say right now. The first surprise is that some band called Justice, apparently composed of two kids with laptop in Paris, with a seizure inducing myspace page and some kind of Christian angle, rocks so hard. You need to play this "Waters of Nazareth" loud. And your speakers need good cooling when you do that, because this track is going to be hard on them. This news came to me from Matt, the same guy that previously brought The Ditty Bops.

The second surprise is that crappy old CNET download.com, the place where you got all your shareware Tetris games for Windows in about 1993, now hands out mp3s, and they don't all suck. Nobody seems to know about it, judging by the numbers they post (12 downloads last week? I get more hits than that). So here is one of those mp3s that doesn't suck:

http://music.download.com/justice

And as long as you're there, how about these Four Tet mp3s:

http://music.download.com/fourtet

They mostly don't suck, although they are not much like the originals.
