The Harry Potter costumes were a success. There were other people dressed up of course, but it is safe to say that none of them went to the same extreme. The actual movie was almost a total loss, however, not because it was bad, but rather because I didn't really get to see it.
I dropped Jen and Laura off at about 10:30, for a show starting after midnight, but that was apparently way too late. We had to sit in the first row, in one of the huge Edwards theaters, from which point you can see no more than a third of the screen at any one time without turning your head, and you can hear the one channel of the soundtrack that is coming out of the speaker ten feet in front of your face. This is not only unpleasant, it is actually painful after about half an hour. Yet another reason to hate the crap Edwards and AMC theaters.
Seen in Target yesterday: Hobo bags. That is all.
